Use Your Phone for STRONGER Abs
When was the last time you gave your core muscles a little TLC?
Our core, the FOUNDATION of our every single movement, works ALL day, EVERY day. It’s time to give it a little love.
Among other things, your core muscles:
Keep your spine safe and stable as you move your arms and legs
Keep your balance
Power your breathing
Support your organs
Maintain your posture
Core misalignment or deactivation can cause head, neck, or low back pain. 80% of us will suffer from back pain at some point in our lives, often because of the everyday things we do (or don’t do), like:
Sitting slouched in front of a laptop
Walking hunched over a phone
Sleeping in not-so-optimal positions (i.e., curled up in a ball)
What can you do about it? Over the next few weeks, we’ll take a deep dive into improving core strength. I have a tiny action to get you started:
---> Every time you look at your phone today, do a quick check-in with your posture. Give your shoulders a few quick rollbacks. Sitting or standing tall keeps your muscles in balance, improves your breathing, and boosts your energy level. Are you with me? Use that phone to your advantage!
